Relationships Between Grandparents and Grandchildren May Help Health

A new study has found that grandparents and grandchildren are good for each other’s well-being. A study consisting of 376 grandparents and 340 grandchildren found that when the two generations have a close relationship it can lower the risk of depression for both. The study’s lead researcher, Sara Moorman said, “extended family members, such as grandparents and grandchildren, serve important functions in one another’s daily lives throughout adulthood.” More here
